東洋の絵付けの中にアルファベットの三文字があって。

飛行機がなかった遠い昔
大航海時代に金とスパイスとエキゾチックな美しいものを求めて
偉大な勇気と欲望、残酷なまでの使命感を持って危険な海へ、
知らない世界へと向かっていった勇者を思った。
まだ見ぬ何かを求め続けて、探し続けて、
地平線のはるか先までも超えて元の場所に帰った時の“まだ見ぬ何か”を考える。

21世紀のハイブリッドな宝島を築く勇者には
きっとタイダイのスーツが似合うのだろう。

On an old piece of china I found at a secondhand store, there were three letters of the alphabet hidden in the oriental design. I thought of the brave souls who, a long time ago during the Age of Discovery, before the advent of airplanes, journeyed out into an unknown world. Armed with great courage, desire and a unwavering sense of duty, they set out across dangerous seas in search of gold, spices and exotic, beautiful treasures. They kept searching and searching for what they had not yet seen. And when this treasure has been returned to its place of origin, across cultures, I think of what is yet to be seen.
Frontiers、 who builds a hybrid treasure island of these cross-cultural wonders would look good in a tie dye suit.
