For the Spring Summer 2009 collection, Another Important Culture takes you on a journey along the Mediterranean Sea.
Drawing inspiration from the Greek Isles of Santorini, Mykonos and Crete, designer Manami Kobayashi uses a color palette reminiscent of the indigenous architecture.
Colors range from rich navy's and greens to shades of ecru and white. Draped pieces, symbolic of folklore and ancient sculptures from the maritime culture can be found throughout the line.
Natural fabrics such as hemp, silk, and cotton ensure a comfortable f it even in the heat of summer, while a sporty glossy finish helps you strike an elegant pose.
